I had an idea. I thought it would be fun to start a thread of random facts about ourselves. I thought it would help members get to know each other and help new members get a feel for what we are like. Plus you may be surprised at how much you may have in common with someone. I'll kick things off and will probably post to this thread regularly. I'll provide a subject and you can post to that subject or on anything of your choosing.

subject = FAMILY

Tina: I'm adopted and didn't find out until I was 16. My mom told me while I was driving?! HA! wonder what my mom sounds like? check it out.
my mommy is so silly

now it's your turn tell us something about your family. siblings? kids? favorite auntie? or just tell us anything you like

This is from Lisa

I am Mexican-American and our extended family is about 400 people!!! Ha ha ha!! No lie! Our family still holds the original 67,000-acre land grant given to us by the Viceroy of Spain for colonization of New Spain. So we have reunions and see the old log cabin that was originally built on the ranch in South Texas. My mom was the first Mexican-American woman on city council in Killeen, too! So that's the deal with my family!!!!
